(INFORMATIONAL ITEM ONLY) Assessment #23-0009: Applicant: Ormat Technologies, Inc. proposes the Dogwood Geothermal Energy Project for the construction and operation of three facilities. Conditional Use Permit (CUP) #23-0020 is to develop a geothermal plant and solar energy facility; a 7-megawatt (MW) parasitic solar facility, underground distribution line, and a project substation. CUP #23-0021 is to develop a 15MW solar energy facility that will provide a parasitic load to the existing Heber 2 geothermal power plant. CUP #23-0022 is to develop up to three geothermal production wells, one geothermal injection well, and approximately 4,500 linear feet of new brine pipelines. The project sites are located at 855, 602 & 690 Dogwood Rd, Heber, CA 92249, on properties identified as Assessor Parcel Number(s) 054-250-031-000, 054-250-017 & 059-020-001 and is further described as Tract 44, Township 16 South; Range 14 East; 39.99AC SBB&M & Tract 45, Township 16 South; Range 14 East 160 AC and NW4 & W2 OF SW4 SEC 3 17-14 239.93 AC. on the unincorporated town of Heber of the County of Imperial; State of California (Supervisorial District #2), [Luis Valenzuela, Planner II at 442-265-1736, or by email at luisvalenzuela@co.imperial.ca.us].
